VDX Monitoring Alerts
VDX Analytics displays the following types of alerts related to Vantage DX Monitoring:
"Robot Manager Health"—Alerts about the health state of the Robot Manager, which is a service you install on a dedicated machine in your environment.
"Microsoft Teams Outage Detection"—Alerts when a Teams outage is detected in multiple business locations. This feature consolidates the outage information so that you do not need to manage individual alerts about Teams issues in different locations.
"Performance Alerts for Workloads"—Alerts about the performance of the workloads that you are monitoring.
A critical alert is raised if the Robot Manager has not sent a heartbeat within the past 15 minutes.
Critical alerts are also raised if any of the robots configured on a Robot Manager machine have failed to perform workload tests at the expected frequency.
Microsoft Teams Outage Detection
Vantage DX generates an alert named “Microsoft Teams Outage Detection” when at least three Robot Managers from different locations report critical issues when monitoring the Teams Advanced workload. The alert provides the following information:
Originally Detected At—The locations where an outage was initially detected.
Presently Affecting—The locations that are currently affected; the outage at some locations may have been resolved in the interval since the outage was first detected.
This feature is available when you use VDX Monitoring to monitor the Teams Advanced workload at three or more locations. For information about how to configure notifications for these alerts, see "Manage Notifications and Incidents" in the VDX Analytics User Guide. The guide is available in the Martello Help Center at:

Performance Alerts for Workloads
VDX Analytics displays alerts for the workloads that you have configured Vantage DX Monitoring to test. The robot performs tests and compares the results to performance thresholds. The health state of the workload is based on this comparison. The performance thresholds are based on industry standards, but some workloads have configurable thresholds, so that you can change them based on your needs.
The following table lists each workload that Vantage DX Monitoring can test, and indicates which ones have configurable thresholds. Click the links in the table to see information about the thresholds and their default values, as well as the health state and the severity of the alert that is shown if the threshold is breached.
